Nothing Happens

Well i suppose i better post the first fan fiction of this 101 site with one of my recent and one of my favorite fic. I speak, of "Nothing Happens"

There isn’t really much worth watching on TV anymore, no matter how many channels I go through, I just can’t get anything good. There’s an old Thunderbolt repeat on, seen that dozens of times thanks to Lucky hogging the TV, A new episode of that “Bolt” TV show, however it has gone down hill since they replaced the actors for Bolt and Penny, and the only other things on are one star films and those new modern day cartoons everybody hates. It actually looks like the TV companies aren’t even trying any more!
Enough of this rubbish. Off with this idiot box, now the question now is; what am I going to do? There’s nothing on TV and there hardly isn’t anyone here in the barn, in fact if you don’t count Nanny milking the cows over there, I’d probably be alone.

Who is there to go to anyway? Kit? Well…he’s up in the Attic, making up this special solo dance, being such the dancing dog he is, I normally go to him and watch as he is a very special friend to me, possibly my best, however seeing that it’s a solo dance, I wouldn’t want to put him off concentration by coming in and talking.
Hesso? Nah, he’s gone into the forest with Iris, they say their going for a ‘stroll’, I can see as plain as my paw in front of my face, I won’t disturb them and their little date. Nuke? He's most obviously getting down with Jewel, Ashley or Bridget, otherwise he would be on top of me right now and I be struggling to get him off me. Phillip has gone into town with Patch and our human Roger to watch the filming of a new episode of the Thunderbolt & Lightning Show (And about time they made more episodes I say!) that leaves Olwe but he can't be here either as he had some business to settle with Jamie and Nemo in a far reach of the forest.
So yeah, I've got no body to go with, on a farm filled with hundreds of animals, I can't find anyone to go with. Suppose I better go outside if there's nothing to do, play a little bit of “Waiting for Godot” and so on.

I've been sitting by this fence poll for an hour now and nothing has happened, I’ve only got people passing me now and then, like Raiden & Slayer passing dragging a Behringer electric guitar in their mouths by it’s neck end, or that NASCAR fan; Patriot carrying some engine parts to the garage and then at one point I saw Dipstick and…errr…what was his name?...er…Clockwise! That’s it, walking towards that old tool shed to which that Tic-Tac guy hangs out.
I don’t really know much about Tac myself, only the fact that Lucky hates his guts, so much in fact that he even told me that Tac was a crazy psychopath bent on killing him and I should declare Tac as my enemy…I’ve never taken that advice. For all I know; Lucky could have made the whole thing up to make sure his lime light wasn’t dimmed. That’s the thing with Lucky; he always seems to be the ONLY pup on this farm that ever does anything. If everyone is suppose to have 15 minutes of fame in their lives, Lucky has had more lives than if everyone on this farm was a cat.

What’s that ringing noise? Never mind, I guess it’s just me. Not much happening at the moment, I only see a few pups running past me (couldn’t make out who they were) and the rest no one…for at least five minutes, complete isolation and that ringing noise still goes on! What is it!?
Some pups them pass me, one of them seems to belch.
Uh Oh, I think I know what that ringing noise, I only hope that I can get to the silo tower before Rolly does, once he’s there, he will open his black hole stomach, eat everything in the food trough, leave nothing left and yet keep the same round figure he has at the same time. I got to hurry!

I did get to the chow tower, however…not in time, I was too late; lunch had finished. The only thing left was one piece of kibble, and even then that was taken by a mouse that instantly bounced off my nose and ran into a hole in the barn. It even cause me to slam my head on the trough, didn’t serve much use, it’s not if a pixy would appear and give me all the food I wanted if I continually bruised my head. I may see stars or cuckoo birds but no, not a pixy.
That mouse is long gone with that kibble too, possibly already eaten it…

I remember once when a mouse man came to see if we had any problems of being overrun with them, he put bait down to catch them. I was with Kit, Phillip & Wizzer at the time, we heard him say to our owner Roger that “mice were incontinent, that’s why they pee and pooh everywhere.”
When Wizzer said he sympathised with them cause he suffers the same thing, Phillip, Kit & I couldn’t help but raise a small smirk. That’s the thing with Wizzer, he may have problems with his bladder, but he can still raise a laugh. Much better jokes than ones Mooch makes to which I strangely see that Wizzer actually laughs at them and calls them “Good ones.”

I suppose I better get back to the barn, I’m sure there’s bound to be someone there now. Maybe Olwe & Jamie have settled something, maybe Kit has perfected his dance, maybe Nuke can’t raise it anymore or maybe Hesso is back with Iris, their date could have gone well, or their date could have been Hell, who knows.

I got back to the barn. No one was there, unbelievable! Here we have a farm which is populated with more than 101 animals, and yet you are able to find a completely isolated barn. Outside, the farm seems to be thriving, I see all these pups that were born as litter mates, like say Mimi with her younger brother; Cloud, Daisy with her brother Buzzsaw, Puffy with his sister Meer…
They have no idea how lucky they are! They know who they’re real siblings are, they can happy that they know someone of their own blood, living with them, throughout their lives, while with me, taken away from mine before I could have even know them, I doubt they hardly know who I am either!...you know, if it weren’t for friends of mine to which I could have counted to be like brothers to me, I’d probably be alone.

I need time to myself, maybe a sleep will help pass the time before someone gets back, maybe someone would be in the barn when I wake up. Now the best thing to do now is find a good hay bail to sleep on, possibly far from the TV in case someone turns it on and they blast me deaf.
Ah…here’s on…

“Ooff!” What was that? I feel that there is this force on top of me, as if someone had gone and tossed a ton of bags over me and it’s staying there, standing right on top of me, looking down into my face with a smirk on his face…
”Hello Nuke…”
Nuke just stared at me with his beady eyes, this child like expression continued staring before he stuck his tongue before giving the line to which most my conversations with him begin with…”Rawr”
Oh boy, here we go again…I looked around the barn while Nuke sat on top of me, everyone seems to be back at last!
To one corner, I see Hesso with Iris, they both looked like they were nuzzling one another, their date went well then. Olwe was on the second floor asleep, I suppose that whatever he, Jamie and Nemo wanted to do was a bit tiring for him. Phillip is back with Patch, he sat there with Wizzer, possibly explaining what he saw being recorded and demonstrating by stretching out his arms to represent something really big (I may be interested in hearing about that later…)
Hey! There’s Kit & Kendra.
“Kit! Kendra! Come on Nuke, get off me. I’ll have time to play with you later, just not right now…So…hey guys…”

I spent a while talking with Kit & Kendra, I asked Kit about his dance, he still thought he needed slight practice, but he did tell me about a tune he made up on the piano to which he is going to show me tomorrow, I continued talking with him and Kendra before Hesso & Iris joined in and we talked on different subjects to which some raised a few laughs, Nuke then came up again pouncing me before he started teasing Kit & Kendra. Oh boy! Nuke really needs to learn to control what he does when he is around other people, but fortunately enough he saw Bridget and instantly took her into a hay bail where giggles were heard, I can guess what they did…
The next thing I knew, Roger came in and it was lights out…

I normally sleep with Kendra, Hesso & Kit by my side, I was quite fortunate to get Kit to sleep in the barn tonight, he normally sleeps up in the attic under some sheets Roger has up there, I normally go up there and spend the night with him too sometimes but tonight, I was able to get him to stay in the barn with us.
The three seem to be sound asleep next to me; however there is just one blasted thing that’s keeping me awake, the noise of the television to the far side of the barn. Now who can it be making all this noise at this time of night…great! I knew it.
“Lucky! Can you please shut the TV off, I’m trying to sleep.”
Lucky only simply stared at me and told me in his arrogant obsessive voice “No! Thunderbolt is on! I can’t miss it!”
I answer back “It’s a re-run! Besides, you and Patch got all the episodes on DVD already. And the new series doesn’t start until Next Month!”
I remembered what Phillip told me earlier about the episode he saw being filmed, and judging by what he said, it will be an episode I’ll be interested in.
Oh great! Lucky is still making a protest, just stating all the things he’s done for this farm and how Tac is trying to kill him. Enough is enough!

“LUCKY! You can have a group of Ninja Zombie Potato Chips wanting to kill you for all I care; I don’t really give a darn! I don’t care if you have saved this farm from Cruella! I don’t care if you became Mayor! I don’t care if you got trapped inside I video game! I don’t care if you ‘borrowed’ and driven Cruellas car! Hey! I wouldn’t even care if you flown a soviet rocket into outer space and thought US Laser Satellites. Just because you got everyone on this farm to worship you and treat you as if you’re the only pup on this farm that can do anything, doesn’t mean that you have to make me too nor should it cut into my night. Turn off the tv Lucky, you aren’t going to win this as there is no chance on Earth that I will become one of your butt kiss…Nuke…get off me…”

Well, to be honest, this is a canon event so really the Growth Ray doesn't exsist.

It's only for RPs and Drawings really.

But still, some Queen Pup treatment on Lucky isn't such a bad idea >=3
